Online Communications
Communicating with Internet surfers
Once your Website is optimized and visitors begin to arrive, you need a strategy to conduct business with them. You would never dream of ignoring a customer that came to your place of business. Likewise, each visitor to your site is also a prospective customer. But unlike the customer who physically walked into your office, this one may go unseen and is therefore easily ignored.

Two Vital Website Communication Components
Funny thing... These two components which are absolutely necessary to produce conversions are the two most common items that are MISSING from almost every fishing charter website. If you forget these you might as well leave your phone number off too.
- Call to Action
A call to action is just what it sounds like. You are "asking" for a web visitor to do something. It could be as simple as "CLICK HERE for more information" or actually asking them to call you TODAY. - Simple Communications
Set up an easy, unpretentious way for your prospects to communicate with you; like a contact form that does not ask for too much up-front information.
Email is the primary form of online communications, many times more effective than a phone call. Make it easy and encourage prospects to contact you by using a web-based form on your website. For email to work in your favor, you have to reply promptly (the same day), concisely answering any questions you have been asked.
Follow Up !
Once you have answered a prospect's email inquiry, you're not finished. If you do not receive a reply, you need to follow-up with a simple email like this:Hi ________,
I wanted to take a moment to follow- up with you, and to see if you had any additional questions about our service.I hope we'll have an opportunity to provide our services to you.
Best regards,
